CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga–Police seized more than P400-Million worth of shabu from two arrested Chinese nationals in a buy bust operation in a mall here on Wednesday. 

Police Region 3 director BGen Cesar Pasiwen said joint police operatives from the regional command, National Capital Region, Pampanga and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and other units arrested Wenjie Chen, alias Harry, 45, fron San Antonio, Gerona, Tarlac and  Sy Yan Qing, 42, from Sto Domingo, Angeles City during a drug trade in Lakeshore along the North Luzon Expressway in Mexico. 

Seized from them were a total of 65 kilos of shabu placed inside several pieces of vacuum sealed plastic Chinese tea bags. 

Also seized were P1,000 bill marked money, a mobile phone and assorted ID’s and documents. 

Pasiwen said the duo are listed subjects in Coplan Apocalypto  who are notorious in peddling volumes of illegal drugs in the areas of Metro Manila, Regions 3, and 4A. 

“The series of accomplishments highlight the government’s stiff anti-illegal drug campaign and all police units are working closely together to eliminate drugs in the country and we are continuously strengthening our intelligence operations focusing on the source of illegal drugs to arrest and put them behind bars,” Pasiwen said.
