CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—Police seized more than half a million worth of illegal drugs from four arrested high-value individuals (HVI) during a buy-bust operation in Pampanga on Thursday.

Police report from the Region 3 police information office said 80 grams of suspected shabu worth P544,000 were seized from one alias “Bianca,” alias “Glo,” alias “Dan,” and alias “Seph”—all residents of Barangay San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando.

Operatives from the Intelligence and Illegal Drug Unit of the City of San Fernando Police Station (CSFPS) arrested them at around 2:30 a.m.  following a well-coordinated operation in Barangay Sto. Niño.

The suspects and the seized illegal drugs were promptly brought to City of San Fernando Police Station for proper documentation and disposition, while charges are being prepared for filing in court.

Regional Director Police Brigadier General Jean S. Fajardo commended the operation’s success and reaffirmed the genuine commitment of the police region 3 office to resolve its war against illegal drugs: “This operation demonstrates our relentless pursuit to dismantle criminal drug networks. We will continue to strengthen our efforts to protect our communities and eliminate the threat of illegal drugs from our streets.”

Fajardo also called on the public to continue cooperating in the fight against drugs, stating: ” The fight against drugs is far from over. Together, we can break the chains of the drug trade. Your cooperation and vigilance are crucial to ensuring that our communities remain safe and drug-free. Let’s unite and ensure that illegal drugs have no place in our society.”

PRO3 encourages everyone to report any drug-related activities to the authorities to help maintain a safer, drug-free environment for all.
