STA. MARIA, Bulacan–A retired Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional director, a former and an incumbent mayors and a chief of staff of outgoing solon are the four newly elected representatives in the four congressional districts of Bulacan.


Engr. Salvador “Ador” Pleyto from this town won against opponents Norzagaray Mayor Alfredo Germar and businesswoman Kate Martinez-Daly from 81,307-76,430-51,491 votes for the newly created sixth district of Bulacan.


Pleyto, who was previously assigned as regional director of DPWH in the National Capital Region is the father of incumbent Sta. Maria Mayor Russell Pleyto.


First District re-electionist Rep. Jose Antonio “Jonathan” Sy-Alvarado failed to secure a third term as former long time City of Malolos Mayor Atty. Danilo Domingo steals the seat from him through 202,712-140,798 votes.

Guiguinto Mayor Ambrosio Cruz Jr. who is on his last term won the congressional seat of newly created fifth district with 127,740 votes against 112,597 of his rival Atty. Arnel Alcaraz from Pandi town.

Augustina Dominique “Ditse Tina” Pancho, elder sister and chief of staff of last termer Second District Rep. Gavini “Apol” Pancho won against closest rival FB Bermudez through 137,276-24,936 votes.

Ditse Tina however is not new in public service, laws, governance and leadership as she serves as the chief of staff of Rep. Apol.
Rep. Apol earlier succeeded their father, former Rep. Pedro Pancho. 


City of Meycauayan Mayor Linabelle Ruth Villarica returns to fourth congressional district with 180,067-11,470 votes against opponent Raquel Guardiano.

Third District Rep. Lorna Silverio and City of San Jose del Monte Lone District Rep. Florida Robes were both re-elected.
Silverio got 129,256 against 54,606 votes of rival former San Rafael Mayor Jessie Viceo.
Robes earned 136,249 votes against opponent former City of San Jose del Monte Mayor Reynaldo San Pedro who got 75,962 votes.
