CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–Police arrested five individuals and seized four firearms and more than P800,000 worth of illegal drugs during simultaneous anti-criminality operations in the province on Friday, reports released by the Bulacan Provincial Police Office here on weekend said.
Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said Benjamin Joson, 58 was arrested in possession of one calibre .357 and calibre .22 revolver including ammunitions during a search and seizure operation at about 4:00 p.m. in City of Meycauayan.
At about 8:45 p.m. in Bocaue town, elements of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Bocaue police arrested gun-running activity suspect Crisanto Sabalbarino, 35 who yielded a .38 calibre revolver.
Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) High Value Individual (HVI) target for illegal drugs Raymond Bautista, 45 yielded .45 calibre firearm and P408,000 worth of shabu in a buy bust operation at around 1:30 p.m. in Sitio Pila, Barangay Catmon, Sta. Maria town.
Police and PDEA HVI target Vincent Torres, 32 was arrested in possession of 8 plastic sachets of shabu worth around 350,000 in a buy-bust in Baliwag town at about 1:15 p.m.
In a buy-bust operation at bout 11:35 p.m. in Barangay Tikay in the City of Malolos, Allen Daryl Clavio was arrested in possession of 32 grams of marijuana worth P38,000.
Arnedo said they were all charged for violations of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Act or the illegal possession of firearms law and Republic Act 9561, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
