Seven Micro Business Owners from Bulacan graduated from the Kapatid Mentor ME Online Program

June 20, 2024 was a significant event for DTI-Bulacan and the seven (7) selected mentees from the province of Bulacan, it is the much awaited, Kapatid mentor ME Online or KMME Online Graduation ceremony. The said event was held via online platform and attended by representatives from DTI, Go Negosyo and the selected mentees from the different provinces of Central Luzon such as Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga ,Tarlac and Zambales.

During the ceremony, DTI OIC Regional Director, Brigida Pili inspired the mentees with her words of encouragement in her keynote message on overcoming challenges and having the determination to succeed, while another guest of honor, PCE Go Negosyo Founder, Joey Concepcion also expressed his unwavering support to the KMME program and stressed on the importance of mentorship in leveling up enterprises and highlighted the milestones of the KMME program.

DTI Region 3, OIC Assistant Regional Director, Edna D. Dizon also imparted her warm congratulations and words of inspiration during her closing remarks and highlighted the importance of the learnings acquired during the ten (10) modules of KMME MME online together with their polished business improvement plans as key elements to improve the status of their respective businesses.

The 1st batch of graduates for calendar year 2024 came from variety of industries such as processed food, pastries, coffee, sweets, processed meat and non-food products such as car covers and garments.

 The seven graduates from the province of Bulacan were as follow:

Four (4) of the graduates from Bulacan were recognized for achieving high rating in their Business Improvement Plan presentation Ms. Odessa Cecilia Saret of Brownie Revolution brought home the 4th place wile, Ms. Rona Cayabat, owner of Patsy’s Coffee and Pasties Shop ranked at 7th , Ms. Chloeanne Devera of Veras Macrame Knitted Products for the 8th place and Ms. Joana Marie Bernardo settled for the 9th place.

These mentees were able to gain essential knowledge based on the expertise and wide experience of accredited mentors from Go Negosyo through a 10-week learning and mentoring sessions which covers business important aspects such as marketing, financial management, human resource, product development, business model and operations management among others.
