3,500 Bulakenyos jam with Dilaw in Singkaban Concert

DILAW IN BULACAN. The rock band ‘Dilaw’ as they perform for thousands of Bulakenyos during the Singkaban Concert held at the Bulacan Sports Complex, City of Malolos, Bulacan last Saturday.

CITY OF MALOLOS– More or less 3,500 Bulakenyos jammed with the rock band Dilaw as they played their hit songs during the Singkaban Concert held at the Bulacan Sports Complex in this city last Saturday.

Composed of Dilaw Obero in vocals, En Altomonte in synthesizer, Vie Dela Rosa in rhythm guitar, Tobi Samson in drums, Leon Karlos in lead guitar, and Wayne Dela Rosa in bass guitar, the band rocked the audience with their performance of “Uhaw”, “Janice”, and “Nilalang” among others.

Janaiah Magpayo, one of the concert goers, said that she is looking forward to hear the relatable music of Dilaw live.

“Tuwing sasapit na po ang September, ito po talaga ‘yung inaabangan ng mga taga Bulacan. Enjoyable po kasi ‘yung ginagawa nilang event na ito. Marami po silang pakulo na naeengganyo po talaga ‘yung mga tao na nandito,” Magpayo shared.

Aside from the main band, Bulakenyo band Shumi, and Bulakenyo boy group Eclipse entertained the audience with their performance.

Meanwhile, after the concert, the attendees were amazed by orchestrated colorful fireworks display by the Solar Harvest, an affiliate company of the Dragon Fireworks Inc.

The Singkaban Concert was made possible through the joint effort of the Provincial Government of Bulacan and Smart Communications.
