Manila, January 28, 2025 – Agridom, the leading agritech service provider under the SF Group of Companies, proudly secured the 2024 United Nations Global Compact Network Philippines (GCNP) Sustainability Award at the prestigious 43rd Agora Awards. This recognition honors Agridom’s outstanding contributions to sustainable agriculture and its unwavering commitment to the welfare of Filipino farmers, the backbone of the nation’s agritech economy.

The United Nations GCNP Sustainability Award recognizes organizations that exemplify leadership in promoting sustainability in line with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Agridom was celebrated for its dedication to improving the lives of Filipino farmers through innovative, inclusive, and environmentally sustainable programs.

One of the standout initiatives that earned Agridom this accolade is the Drone4Rice Program, a collaboration with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), and the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA). This groundbreaking project leverages drone technology to revolutionize rice farming by enhancing precision agriculture, minimizing resource waste, and maximizing yields. Through Drone4Rice, countless Filipino farmers have improved their productivity and income while significantly reducing their environmental impact.

“Agridom has successfully integrated sustainability and technology by leveraging innovative agri-tech solutions that enhance productivity, reduce environmental impact, and empower Filipino farmers. This award is a testament to our commitment to revolutionizing Philippine agriculture, inspiring a future where technology and sustainability work hand in hand to build a resilient, food-secure nation.” said Dominador Subang, CEO of Agridom. “By offering technology-as-a-service—such as drone mapping, precision seeding, fertilizer broadcasting, and advanced crop health analytics—Agridom has made agri-tech solutions accessible and affordable, even for smallholder farmers.” said Jennifer Subang, COO of Agridom.

Agridom and its partners shine at the 43rd Agora Awards, celebrating a shared vision of empowering Filipino farmers and advancing sustainable agriculture.

Agridom extended special thanks to its partners, including Department of Agrarian Reform, PhilRice, BPI, FranCorp, Pioneer Insurance, NAMS, I-We, Bayer Crop Science, AgileTech, BlueThumb, Xanadu and Wadhani whose collaboration has been pivotal in delivering meaningful impact to farming communities. This recognition further underscores the importance of working together to create a more sustainable and prosperous future for Filipino farmers.
