MARILAO, BULACAN – A big-time drug trader involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby provinces of Central Luzon was nabbed and yielded sixty (60) kilos of crystal meth (shabu) amounting to Php 408,000,000.00 following an entrapment operation  on Wednesday morning (March 2).

Authorities identified the arrested suspect as JALON SUPE LAURETA, resident of Daisy St. Green Valle Molino II Bacoor, Cavite.


The shabu haul was consummated at about 10:00 in the morning at Km 23 along NLEX, Barangay Lias, Marilao town.


Confiscated from Laureta were MOL 60 kilos of suspected shabu wrapped in Chinese tea bags with an estimated value of P408, 000,000.00; one (1) unit of Toyota Altis Champagne XPS 112; one (1) Android phone; one (1) Nokia basic phone color black; one (1) Nokia basic analog phone color yellow; and identification cards.


The entrapment operation was conducted by agents of PDEA Central Luzon, PDEA Intelligence and Investigation Service (IIS), PDEA NCR, PDEA SES, Team ISAF, PDEG, NICA, PRO-3 and Marilao MPS.


Charges for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) of RA 9165 will be filed against Laureta.
