Bulacan Gov hails police as protector and servant of Filipinos at all times

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga–Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando hailed and thanked the Philippine National Police (PNP) for being the best protector and servant of the people at all times particularly during this pandemic as he congratulate the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) for being awarded the Best Police Regional Office in the country for 2020 during the PNP’s120th Police Service Anniversary celebration at this camp on Monday.


Fernando who was keynote speaker in the event said the police despite being themselves infected with COVID-19 continue to man the control points, maintain peace and order, help the local government units implements minimum health protocols while remaining on top of their anti illegal drug and all forms of criminality operations.


Fernando congratulated Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon, PRO3 regional director for being awarded the best said regional office award since after two decades.


PRO3 bagged the said award besting 16 other PRO’s. 


“This recognition will surely lift the spirits of our PRO3 personnel as we work tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality and wiping out illegal drugs in the region. I commend all the officers, men and women of the different police/city police provincial offices for a job well done,”  De Leon said.


“We also share this feat with our stakeholders and all local government units who have been extending their unyielding support, we dare to soar and aim at raising ourselves to keep on delivering excellent police services to the people of Central Luzon ignited on our desire to continuously carry out our mantra, “To Serve is our Passion, To Protect is our Action,” he added.

Based on the records of the National Historical Commission, Police Service as an institution takes its roots from the Insular Police Force that was created on August 8, 1901.Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte- Carpio also congratulated and thanked the PRO3 and the police for its services to the people.  

She further said that all PNP personnel should re-affirm their commitment to police service and should keep on serving the Filipino people with unfaltering perseverance and devotion.
