
CITY OF MALOLOS—The province has ten new mayors following the result of the May 12 midterm elections, one congresswoman, three current vice mayors, an engineer son of last termer mayor, a lawyer, a businessman, a mother of an incumbent mayor and two returning former seasoned mayors,

City of San Jose del Monte Lone District Rep. Rida Robes is the new mayor of tne city. She and her husband, Mayor Arthur Robes switched post and is now the duly elected representative of the Lone District of the City of San Jose del Monte



San Miguel Vice Mayor Bong Alvarez is now the new mayor of San Miguel town. Pulilan Vice Mayor RJ Peralta is now the new mayor of Pulilan and Hagonoy Vice Mayor Maria Rosario “Charo” Sy-Alvarado is the new mayor of Hagonoy.
Alvarez is on his last term as vice mayor while Peralta and Alvarado are only on their first terms as vice mayors when they leaped running for the mayoralty of their respective towns and won in the Monday polls.

Engr. Mac Marcos, is the new mayor of Paombong. He succeeded his mother, exiting Paombong Mayor Mary Anne Marcos. His father, former Department of Energy Undersecretary Donato Marcos was also a former mayor of the town.

Atty. Jem Sy, finally made it as the mayor of Marilao. She lost in the race for the said post in previous elections.

Businessman Andrew Santiago is the new mayor of Balagtas town.

Sonia “Mommy Sonia” Estrella is the mother of City of Baliwag Mayor Ferdie Estrella. Mayor Ferdie is on his last term and he has just been elected as the new vice mayor of the city.

Fifth District Rep. Ambrosio “Boy” Cruz Jr. a former two season mayor of Guiguinto town ran unopposed and now has successfully returned as the new mayor of the town.
Cruz daughter, Guiguinto Mayor Agatha Paula Cruz is now the newly elected representative of the fifth district of Bulacan.

Former San Rafael Mayor Cipriano “Goto” Violago, also ran unopposed and has now returned as the new mayor of San Rafael, succeeding his son, San Rafael Mayor Mark Cholo Violago who ran and won as the new representative of the third district of Bulacan.
