Bulacan to recognize exceptional Bulakenyos in the upcoming Gawad Dangal ng Lipi

CITY OF MALOLOS – As one of the highly anticipated events of the Singkaban Festival 2024, remarkable Bulakenyos will be honored and celebrated in the upcoming annual Gawad Dangal ng Lipi on September 15, 2024, 6 pm at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city.

The award categories that include public service, community service, education, science and technology, arts and culture, sports, professional, trade and industry, entrepreneur, agriculture, health and Bulakenyo Expatriate will be awarded to inspire Bulakenyos to strive for even greater excellence in their respective fields of expertise and to recognize outstanding achievement of the men and women of Bulacan.

Meanwhile, the Tanging Bulakenyo, a prestigious honor previously awarded to the late former Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Susana “Toots” Ople, will be given to anyone who excel and achieve exceptional success in any of the listed categories.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that one of the keys to the success of the province is having an outstanding and talented citizenry who aptly deserves to be recognized.

“Kasabay ng pagdiriwang natin ng Singkaban Festival ay ang pagbibigay pugay natin sa mga natatanging Bulakenyo na nagbigay karangalan sa ating lalawigan. Ang mga indibidwal na kikilalanin natin ay hindi lamang nagbigay inspirasyon sa kanilang mga kababayan naging tagumpay na simbolo ng dedikasyon, husay, at pagmamahal sa kanilang ginagawa,” Fernando said.
