CITY OF MALOLOS – Sixty Bulakenyo youths from various schools in the province immerse themselves in a full week of public service as part of the Boy/Girl Officials 2025, coinciding with the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration this year.

Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro led the Transfer of Responsibilities to Boy Governor Kim Bryan L. Lacson from Felizardo C. Lipana National High School in Guiguinto and Boy Vice Governor Angelo Jr. G. Santos from San Miguel National High School in San Miguel and all the boy/girl officials during the Monday Flag Ceremony held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention in this city last Monday.

All the boy/girl officials will have a counterpart in each department of the Provincial Government of Bulacan and national government agencies in the province.

As he started his public service journey during his youth as a Sangguniang Kabataan chairman, Castro encouraged the boy/girl officials to enjoy the week that they would spend at the Provincial Capitol, and called on their counterparts to give them something to remember as an experience.

Meanwhile, the counterpart of Gov. Daniel R. Fernando reiterated to his fellow youth to be the spark of hope and the light of society, and requested their official counterparts to give them a chance to contribute to change.

Aside from immersing themselves on office works, the boy/girl officials will also undergo briefings and seminars on various topics including Briefing on Urban Gardening for Young Farmers; Servant Leadership; Mental Health; Local Youth Action for the SDG and Beyond; Pamanang Kasaysayan ng Lalawigan ng Bulacan; Early Teenage Pregnancy; Youth Engagement on Environment: Proper Waste Management; and Disaster Preparedness within the whole week.
