CITY OF MALOLOS – Hundreds of Bulakenyos enjoyed a delightful time as they were captured in a photo by the Information Officers of Bulacan (InfoBul) and Provincial Public Affairs Office (PPAO) through InfoBooth with Roving Radio Station activity at the PGB Commercial Building 2, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Guinhawa in the city as the weeklong 19th Singkaban Festival 2024 officially started last Monday.
Some also participated in the Open Mic Jam via the Roving Radio Station and were informed of the various programs of local government units through the InfoKiosk.
“Talagang pinaghandaan namin ito dahil lagi namang inaabangan ng mga Bulakenyo hindi lamang ng Lalawigan ng Bulacan kundi ‘yung mga kalapit pa nating probinsiya. This has been known as the “Mother of all Fiestas”, dahil ang lahat ng mga bayan at mga lungsod ay may iba’t ibang mga selebrasyon ng kanilang kapistahan, but a weeklong celebration like Singkaban, ito ‘yung lahat lagom kung saan maha-highlight lahat ang history, arts, culture and of course still binibigyan din naming ng highlight ang good governance in managing all of these activities,” Provincial Information Officer Katrina Anne B. Balingit said.
InfoBul President Regemrei Bernardo thanked everyone who participated to make the said project successful and highlighted the importance of coordination and collaboration.
“Bukod sa paghahatid ng kasiyahan, at pagsasagawa ng gawain bilang pakikiisa sa Singkaban Festival 2024, napatunayan natin ang kahalagahan ng kolaborasyon sa isang organisyon, partikular na sa InfoBul. Kapag ang mga indibidwal ay nagsama-sama at nagbahagian ng kanilang ideya, kakayanan at kahusayan, mas nagiging madali ang pagbuo at pagpapatupad ng mga makabuluhang proyekto katulad ng InfoBooth,” he said.
Meanwhile, one of the festivity goers named Felicity Faith DL Sarboda, a BulSU Main Campus student, congratulated the organizers for the success of the said activity.
“Ang galing ng InfoBooth, nagpapicture kami,” Sarboda said.
