CITY OF MALOLOS–Police arrested two call center agents including two college students and a former seafarer and seized P118,000 worth of shabu and marijuana in two separate illegal drug buy bust operations in this city on Monday.
Bulacan Police Director Col. Relly Arnedo identified Ian Cabrera, 22, alias “Naic,” from Bulakan town and Rica Mariz Santos, 22 from this city, both call center agents and their companions–Kim Shane Roque, 22, from Malolos and Carl John Tolores also 22, from Manila and both students in possession of 500 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves worth P60,000.
They were arrested at about 10:45 p.m. in Barangay Sto. Cristo during buy bust operations by anti illegal drugs unit of City of Malolos police.
Col. Ferdinand Germino, City of Malolos police chief said the marijuana is set for distribution to fellow call center agents and students of the suspects.
At about 2:10 a.m. in Barangay Mabolo, the same operatives arrested seafarer Ruben Gonzales, 59 from Balagtas town in possession of 5 grams of suspected shabu worth P34,500.
Also, worth P23,500 suspected shabu placed inside 23 plastic sachets were seized from six other arrested suspects during buy bust operations in Hagonoy, San Miguel, City of San Jose del Monte, CSJDM, Pulilan and Obando, also on Monday, Arnedo added.
