CARD MRI Astro Laboratories Inc., an institution under CARD MRI, received its License to Operate (LTO) for Cosmetics Laboratories from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on January 2, 2025, enabling the company to expand its production and reach a wider market.

Founded in 2019, CARD Astro played a critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic, supplying essential products such as alcohol, sanitizers, and liquid hand soap to help combat the health crisis. The company’s timely establishment allowed it to serve communities in need.

“We are grateful that our timely establishment allowed us to serve communities. Through this license, we can continue delivering quality products and services, contributing to the overall goal of poverty eradication,” said CARD Astro President Ms. Marites S. Pedraja.

Since its founding, CARD Astro has expanded its product range. In January 2021, it launched two perfumes. The company also offers a variety of personal care items, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and home essentials like dishwashing liquid, disinfectant, and multi-purpose liquid cleaner. Its latest products include E&M Cologne and Malunggay Capsule.

Located in Barangay Tranca, Bay, Laguna, the CARD Astro Laboratory increases the company’s production capacity, helping meet the growing product demand.

“We are committed to expanding our product lines and making a greater impact on communities,” Ms. Pedraja concluded.
