PANDI, Bulacan–Officials of Citizens Battle Against Corruption (CIBAC) partylist distributed P6-million worth of cash help to 1,200 residents under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
CIBAC Partylist Rep. Bro. Eddie Villanueva facilitated the release of P5,000 worth each fund from the DSWD to first 600 batch of recipients on Tuesday.
Former CIBAC Rep. Domingo Rivera led the distribution to the said beneficiaries in Barangay Siling Bata. He said another batch of 600 residents in Siling Bata will receive the same next week.
Rivera also graced the inauguration of P10-million worth CIBAC-funded Siling Bata Multi Purpose Building.
He said CIBAC also plans to build similar multi purpose buildings in other barangays in Pandi and other towns. He also proposed for the construction of a brand new municipal hall building in partnership with the municipal government.
Bulacan Fifth District Rep. Ambrosio Cruz Jr. and Mayor Rico Roque including other municipal officials also graced the ocassion.
