CITY OF MALOLOS–The Department of Trade and Industry Bulacan Provincial Office (DTI Bulacan) in partnership with the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) launched on Friday the Gabay- Negosyo Project to help provide support to new players in the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) investment in the province.
DTI-3 OIC-Regional Director Brigida T. Pili joined by Atty. Jan Limuel Santos from the Office of Vice Governor Alex Castro, Atty. Lyvette San Diego from the Office of First District Cong. Danilo Domingo, Board Member Arthur Legaspi, DICT-3 Regional Director Antonio Edward Padre, OIC- Asst. Regional Director and Concurrent Provincial Director of DTI- Bulacan Edna D. Dizon, DILG Provincial Director Myrvl Fabia, DICT Bulacan Provincial Director Mario Antonio Aya-ay, PIA Center Manager Vinson Concepcion, Dr. Aimee Grace Madlangbayan of BULSU, Ms. Cristina Tuzon, President of Bulacan CCI, Ms. Corina Bautista, Chairman of BCCI, directors and members of BCCI and members of Bulacan MSMED Council lead and graced the launch.
The Gabay- Negosyo project aims to create and nurture the development of Bulacan micro enterprises.
Twenty-nine micro enterprises have pledged their willingness to attend the series of learning and mentoring sessions to improve their managerial skills and enhance entrepreneur behavior.
An Entrepreneurship and Values Formation Seminar was conducted in the afternoon with Negosyo Center Calumpit Business Counsellor Danilo Aquino III as facilitator to provide the fundamentals of business operation, key steps in registering a business, and provide the appropriate entrepreneurial mind-set for business start-ups. Together, we will help Bulacan MSMEs thrive.
From January to June this year, DTI has assisted the registration of 8,928 old and new MSME’s.
