These companies will be highlighting products using techniques, styles, and materials that cater to specific preferences of Japanese consumers.

The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotions arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) with support from the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) is organizing this event that aims to tap into the lucrative Japanese market.
“Participation in these trade activities is consistent with our mandate to help exporters gain increased market visibility, diversification, and ultimately sustained growth for the sector and Philippine export industry,” said PHILEXPORT president Sergio R. Ortiz-Luis Jr.
Further to the trade show, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) Tokyo is also preparing a B2B exhibit called FINOPINAS at the Tokyo Midtown Design Hub which will run from September 2 to15, 2024. FINOPINAS will provide an additional platform for Filipino designers, artists, and brands to connect with potential Japanese buyers or partners.
“Philippine participation in TIGS and FINOPINAS presents a valuable opportunity for exporters to showcase their innovative and high-quality products to a discerning audience. Filipino creativity and craftsmanship will resonate with Japanese buyers, fostering new partnerships and strengthening trade relations between the two countries,” said CITEM in a statement.
