Ground crews have also begun restoration efforts in affected sites in Southern Luzon, where several provinces were severely hit by the powerful storm.

“We are glad to report that several sites affected by power outages due to Kristine are back up 100% just as the storm makes its way out of Philippine territory. Our personnel are on the ground in other affected areas to swiftly restore service to support relief and recovery efforts and help communities cope with the devastating impact of the storm,” said Yoly Crisanto, Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer at Globe.

Globe has also started deploying its Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng WiFi stations to provide communications support in severely hit areas.

On Thursday, Globe activated a Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging and Libreng WiFi booth in front of a mall in Zone 1B, Barangay ABC in Cebu City. The station will remain operational until Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Globe continues to call on customers to support relief efforts by donating their Globe Rewards points via the GlobeOne app.
