BUSTOS, Bulacan—Kubota Philippines Inc. recently launched its latest modern day farmer’s best friend “ The Rise of the Legend L5228” tractor which will not only further improve the crop yields of the Filipino farmers but will also create ease and comfort in farming to also help encourage the young generation today to delve in the farming industry.
Fritz Carlo Arota, one of the top officials of KPI said the latest at par farming technology they built, “The Rise of the Legend L5228” is aimed and designed to support the farmers to become fully responsive in today’s farming.
During the launch on June 5 of the upgraded Kubota machinery, Arota said Kubota Philippines listens to the demands and needs of the Filipino farming communities, what they are experiencing in the field and the product they are looking for.
The L5228, he said is the answer to that current need of today’s farmers. “We go through rigorous surveys and costing of our machineries before we launch our products and made sure that we have the right product for our farmers,” he told the media.
Among the best features of the machine is the improved durability and efficiency which will provide more accomplished works for the farmers in less time. “This is a better one, it is more stronger and more durable because of its highly improved horsepower, this will yield nore high value crops,” he said.
Arota said Kubota L5228 is an upgraded, far more improved version of their L5018 that they launched in 2017 which had been hailed as the strongest and most powerful tractor for SouthEast Asian farmers.
According to Arota, the “Rise of the Legend” can improve the yield of farmers of rice, corn and vegetables from 4-5 hectares to more than 6 hectares a day. The machinery also has an LED which suits the 24-hour need of the farmers.
“Its looks, its new bonnet design not only increase the air flow but it also carries an LED light as farmers today go out in the field even during sunset and night time”.
“It is not a matter of selling for us, what is important to us is the after sales commitment. Every minute downtime is a lost for our farmers,” Arota also added.
What is even more assuring for the farmers is the availability of the parts of the L5228 in the Philippines.
At the warehouse of KPI at NorthPoint Industries in Barangay Malamig in this town are stocks of L5228 farmer’s modern best friend for its North and Central Luzon dealers and customers.
KPI also has its Batangas warehouse for Southern Luzon customers and one in Mindanao to supply the agricultural farm needs of its farmers.
“The demand is there, the customer appreciate the product that’s why we move to this bigger wsrehouse from a smaller one in Plaridel ,” he added.
Arota also said that Kubota L5228 has special features to attract young generations of farmers today to help address the sustainability of the industry amidst the modern industries and jobs.
“As we know and have seen, we are losing our younger farmers to service industry, that’s why we load our machine with special features for more durability and that we hope our young generation of farmers would see and experience ease in farming”.
