CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN–Department of Justice Menardo Guevarra on Friday graced the inauguration of the first of its kind finest P1-billion worth Meycauayan city hall and government center along the MacArthur Highway (Manila North Road) in Barangay Saluysoy on Friday.
The new facility in 6000 sq. meter lot property of the city government acquired in 2017 is located at the heart and center of Meycauayan which is within reach by the residents.
The place is near the Iglesia Ni Cristo church and the Meycauayan Station of the North-South Commuter Railway Project, formerly Philippine National Railways along the MacArthur highway.
It is a five story structure with a helipad, a roof top, four elevators that finally matches the first class metropolis and city-life of Meycauayan. Since it became a city in 2006, its center of government is kept in the inner narrow and flooded roads and area in Poblacion and later in distant Barangay Camalig.
Mayor-elect Congressman Atty. Henry Villarica of Bulacan Fourth District envisioned the new city government center to become a magnet of investments and a catalyst for the further development of Meycauayan into a highly urbanized city.
Different branches of national government offices will be put up in the government center.

Villarica said her husband brainchild the new city hall and government center and it is now a dream come true for both of them for Meycauayan to finally has its own modern city hall that is very accessible to all the residents.
Guevarra who hails from the city congratulated the couple and assured his fellow residents that Meycauayan is in good hands in the two leaders who both are very reputable in good and honest governance and public service.
