Miss Universe Gloria Diaz joins the roster of judges for Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban

CITY OF MALOLOS – No less than Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz will be joining the roster of judges as 15 male and 18 female candidates representing their respective cities and towns’ rich cultural heritage vie for the most coveted crown of the Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban on its Grand Coronation Night to be held at The Pavilion, Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in this city on September 13, 2024 at 7:00 pm.

Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that pageants are not merely contests of physical appearance but serve as platforms to highlight and celebrate the grace, intellect, and talent of young individuals and their awareness on important social issues.

“Ipapakita ng ating maririlag at makikisig na kandidato at kandidata na hindi lamang sila maganda at guwapo, gayundin ang kanilang talento at malalim na pagkakaunawa sa tradisyon at kultura ng ating lalawigan,” the governor said.

The male candidates represent the Cities of Meycauayan, Malolos, Baliwag, and the towns of Plaridel, Santa Maria, Pandi, San Miguel, Bocaue, Bulakan, Pulilan, Obando, Marilao, Calumpit, Paombong, and Norzagaray.

Meanwhile, the female contenders are from the Cities of Meycauayan, Baliwag, and Malolos, and the towns of Pulilan, Norzagaray, Angat, Marilao, Plaridel, Balagtas, Paombong, Calumpit, Bocaue, San Rafael, Santa Maria, Obando, San Miguel, Bulakan, and Pandi.

Aside from the title of Hari at Reyna ng Singkaban, the Provincial Government of Bulacan will also award the winners of the Hari at Reyna ng Turismo, Hari at Reyna ng Sining at Kultura, and Hari at Reyna ng Kasaysayan.

Prior to the coronation night, the candidates competed for the Talent and Formal Wear Competition held at Robinsons Place Malolos last September 1.

Winners of the pageant will earn the honor of representing Bulacan as cultural ambassadors, serving as role models for the youth and showcasing the province’s history throughout their reign.
