NLEX Corporation’s flagship program for community development clinched the Silver Anvil at the recently concluded 60th Anvil Awards.

From nearly 600 entries, the NLEX Pag-unlad at Paglago ng Pamayanan (PUNLA), a program dedicated to equipping small but promising women-led organizations with essential skills and knowledge to improve their enterprises, was among the 122 winners this year.

“We are grateful and honored that the program’s social impact was acknowledged. This recognition reaffirms our unwavering commitment to fostering positive change within the communities we serve. It fuels us to intensify our efforts and launch initiatives that deliver valuable benefits to our stakeholders, empowering their growth and success,” said NLEX Corporation Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management Donna F. Marcelo.

NLEX holds 28 Anvil awards, including the Grand Anvil in 2006 for its Integrated Communication Program for the New North Luzon Expressway.

Organized annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards, dubbed the “Oscars of Public Relations,” distinguish outstanding programs and tools implemented by leading companies, agencies, and organizations. These initiatives exemplify excellence in PR standards and have made a notable impact on industries and communities.

NLEX Corporation is a subsidiary of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the toll road arm of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC).
