NO MORE TENTS FOR THE TRIAGE

LUNGSOD NG MALOLOS–Ang bagong gawang Out Patient Department ng Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) katabi ng Bulacan Infection and Control Center (BICC) kung saan ang unang palapag ay pansamantala munang gagawing triage area ng ospital upang hindi na sa tents o triage area lamang sa labas ng BMC dinadala ang mga maysakit.

Ayon kay Dr. Hjordis Marushka Celis, Bulacan COVID-19 Task Force vice chair, target na nilang ilipat ngayong linggong ito ang bagong triage area sa loob ng nasabing bagong gusali. 

Ang Out Patient Department na ito ay donation ng Department of  Health (DOH) sa ilalim ng programa nitong Health Enhancement Facilities.

Ayon naman kay Gob. Daniel Fernando, ang paglipat ng triage sa gusaling ito ay ikatlong bahagi ng isinagawa ng Capitolyo na Bulacan Hospital Surge Design simula noong Abril upang i-address ang tumataas na kaso ng COVID-19 sa Pilipinas.

Sa pinakahuling tala, pumalo na sa 3,929 ang active COVID-19 cases sa Bulacan at may total na 54,427 na simula March 2020. Nakapagtala na rin ng 1,120 deaths ang lalawigan. Ganunpaman, nagtala rin ang lalawigan ng 49,378 recoveries. 
Ang ngayong Out Patient Department ng BMC ay gagawing Department of Opthalmology and Visual Sciences.
