CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–Police arrested a 35-year old suspect who robbed an online sabong establishment in Calumpit on Tuesday.
Bulacan Police Director Col. Rommel Ochave identified the suspect as Aldrin Casio who was arested in a hot pursuit operation in Barangay Santisima Trinidad in City of Malolos after he robbed an online sabong express establishment in Barangay Longos, Calumpit at about 2:30 p.m.
Casio entered the place and at gun point suddenly announced the heist and carted away a pouch containing cash money amounting to P53,856.
Police seized P3,000 cash money from him including one .38 slab nose revolver and ammunition.
In Marilao town also on Tuesday, police arrested Jericho Moreno a 33-year-old Call Center Agent in Malolos City for complains of estafa and robbery with force upon things.
He rented a taxi but when he failed to pay the fare, he went to the house of his brother and destroy the door. He then entered the bedroom and carted away one Apple ipad worth 28,000, black/stainless Nautica watch worth 18,000.00 and black body bag worth P800. Responding policemen arested him.
In City of Malolos, Marvic Cañete, 30, a cockfight farm part time helper who is behind the missing cocks in Barangay Look 2nd was arrested after he was caught in the act of carrying three 3 fighting cocks which he handed to his cohort outside the farm.
His cohort however, managed to run and elude arrest.
