SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA- Carmela Reyes-Estrope, (second from left), secretary of Kabesera, a heritage and cultural group of Bulakan town and NEWSCORE publisher/editor-in-chief wears one of the latest in fashion in the Philippines, “Disenyo Pandi” modern day Filipiniana made of ethnic design and fabric bolero and satin cloth just before it was made as gift to the House of the Philippines (HOP) in the International Houses of Nations in Balboa Park, San Diego California on October 19 in celebration of the Filipino-American History Month. With her from left is Evelyn Morano, secretary of the Filipino-American Women’s Association in San Diego, Myra Villafana, 2022 HOP 2nd Vice President and Emeline Yabut, president of Philippine Nurses Association in San Diego.

Reyes-Estrope is also a Correspondent of the Philippine Daily Inquirer and teaches communication and media in Centro Escolar University (CEU) Malolos.
