Paskong Bulakenyo shines bright with Christmas Tree lighting and band concert

PASKONG BULAKENYO. Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro lead the ceremonial lighting of the PGB Christmas Tree during the program dubbed as Paskong Bulakenyo: Pag-iilaw ng Punong Pamasko at the Gen. Gregorio Del Pilar Park, Antonio S. Bautista Bulacan Provincial Capitol Compound, City of Malolos, Bulacan last night. CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan officially welcomed the holiday season with a dazzling Paskong Bulakenyo: Pag-iilaw ng Punong Pamasko featuring the ceremonial lighting of the PGB Christmas tree at the Gen. Gregorio Del Pilar Park, Antonio S. Bautista Bulacan Provincial Capitol Compound.

With hundreds of Bulakenyos in attendance, Governor Daniel R. Fernando led the much-anticipated ceremony, along with Vice Governor Alexis Castro, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, PGB department heads and employees, witnessing the towering Christmas tree adorned with sparkling lights with an edgy look, and a radiant star on top which symbolizes the province’s enduring spirit of hope and unity.

The celebration was also brought to life with a musical feast as the Hiyas ng Bulacan Brass Band and CEU Chorale serenaded the crowd.

In his message, Fernando emphasized the importance of coming together specially during the holiday season.

“Tayo nawa ang maging pinakamagandang regalo sa ating kapwa – ngumiti, umunawa, magpatawad, magmahalan.  Ibahagi natin ang ating mga biyaya sa iba, lalo na sa mga higit na nangangailangan,” the governor said.

To conclude the evening, a grand fireworks display illuminated the skies over the Capitol Grounds, leaving the crowd in awe and marking the start of a festive season filled with hope and joy.
