CITY OF MALOLOS – The Provincial Government of Bulacan will extend its care to Bulakenyo furry friends by offering free veterinary services and promoting responsible pet ownership through Veterinary Medical Mission spearheaded by the Provincial Veterinary Office as part of the weeklong celebration of Singkaban Festival 2024 to be held at the Mini-Forest Stage, Capitol Compound here on September 12, 2024, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Licensed veterinarians from the municipalities of Pulilan, Marilao and City of Baliwag will be on hand to provide essential pet care services including free spay and neuter for cats and dogs, free anti-rabies vaccination, basic health check-ups, treatment and deworming where pet owners will also have the opportunity to consult with veterinarians about proper pet care, nutrition, and disease prevention.

In addition to the veterinary services, exhibitors including Whelps Shop for a Cause, Nutrichunk, Emervet, Unahco, yumyum and Peternity will be present to promote wellness products for pets, distribute flyers and freebies to pet owners.

Meanwhile, Governor Daniel R. Fernando invites all pet owners and animal lovers to take advantage of these free services and participate in the festivities.

“Ang inisyatibang ito ay hindi lamang naglalayong tugunan ang kanilang mga pangangailangang medikal kundi isinusulong din nito ang responsableng pag-aalaga ng hayop. Ang kalusugan ng ating mga alaga ay isang salamin ng ating malasakit at responsibilidad bilang mga nag-aalaga,” the governor said.

Pet owners who are interested are encouraged to register in advance at the Provincial Veterinary Office to secure their appointment, as walk-ins will not be accommodated.
