At least 400 public students of Baliwag South Central School welcome the year with cheer as they become recipients of the SM Bears of Joy donation from SM City Baliwag. Leading the distribution were SM City Baliwag Assistant Mall Manager Eugene Martin and Building Administration Manager Jay Esquivel. Members of the faculty, led by the school principal, Ms. Rosalie Santos, welcomed them.

In time for the return of classes after Christmas break, SM Bears of Joy served as a reminder to students of the importance of sharing and gift-giving as the true meaning of the holiday season.

Spearheaded by SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom, SM Bears of Joy is an annual project that aims to spread happiness to those in need while allowing shoppers to take part in bringing smiles to children’s faces in the community.
