CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE-Gov. Daniel Fernando and his vice gubernatorial running mate Board Member Alex Castro earned the support and prayers of Christian and Muslim leaders in this vote rich city through a People’s Prayer Rally on Thursday.
About 10,000 residents from 59 villages in this city attended the rally at the Executive Covered Court in Barangay Sto. Cristo.
International Christian Baptist Temple church head Jojo Santos prayed for the victory of Fernando and Castro as he hails the governor and the tandem for having a good heart as public servants.
“Fernando like a good leader has a heart of a servant. He listens to people who have less in life and heed the advise of others. He kneels before God for guidance and wisdom,” he said as they led the crowd in prayer.
Bishop Rene Gomez of There is Only One Lord Jesus Christian Family Church assured Fernando of God’s blessing and graces through a quote from a verse in the bible.
“Sa bible sinasabi sa Bilang 23:19 na ang Diyos ay hindi sinungaling tulad ng tao. Diyos ang may dala kay Daniel. Let us believe God,” he told the supporters.
Bishop Daniel Osorio of Cadham/Values Formation and Spiritual Foundation International Chaplain Minister Order asked the crowd to vote for Fernando who diligently performed his job of converting nights into day time in serving the people of Bulacan.
