SAN RAFAEL, BULACAN—1,000 residents here received on Wednesday P3,000 each worth of cash from Senator Bong Go through the Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as part of his health commitment and advocacy for the Filipino people particularly those in the countryside.

A total of P3-million worth of cash was distributed to all the beneficiaries who are indigents and who are in need of health and medical support from the town’s 34 barangays.

They received the cash assistance at the government center shortly after the senator led the ground-breaking of the P11.5 million worth Super Health Center (a semi-hospital and clinic medical facility) for the residents of the town.

More than 100 balls for basketball games, two bicycles, some pair of shoes and sun glasses were also distributed to selected beneficiaries including hundreds of grocery packs.

Go heads the health and sports committees in the senate.
