Mr. President:

Magandang hapon sa ating lahat.

Senator Joel Villanueva

To reiterate the words of the late Senator Ed Angara when he sponsored the K to 12 Program in the 15th Congress: “Adeptness to language begins with one’s mother tongue and provides the strong base for acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies across all other learning areas.”

Through language mapping, we will be able to cluster together our students in the same grade level and with a common language into “monolingual classes” to ensure that our MTB-MLE will be more effective.
