CITY OF MALOLOS – As part of the Singkaban Festival 2024 weeklong celebration, the Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office will be spearheading the competition “Tulad Ni: Impersonasyon at Paglalarawan Sa Bayani,” giving Bulakenyo students the chance to honor and bring to life the memory of Bulakenyo heroes through impersonation and poster-making competition under the SINEliksik Bulacan sa Eskwelahan Project.
Both the impersonation and poster-making must align with the theme “Tulad Ni: Bayani ng Kaniyang Panahon, Inspirasyon Natin Ngayon”, wherein participants must dress up and imitate their chosen Bulakenyo hero using appropriate costumes and accessories for the impersonation category while competitors for the poster making must create a creative poster that showcases important aspects of the hero’s life and achievements.
Currently, the works of participating 31 elementary, 18 secondary, and three college students in the poster making competition are currently on display at SM City Baliwag until September 6, 2024 for public viewing and judging.
As for the impersonation category, the 16 participating elementary students from Grade 5 and 6 from different school districts in Bulacan will compete on September 20, 2024, 1:00 PM at SM Pulilan alongside the awarding of winners for the poster making category.
Further, winners in various categories from the elementary, secondary, and college levels in the poster making competition, as well as the winning impersonators, will be awarded with cash prizes and trophies.
