SM, Bulakenyo Artists Celebrate Post- Pandemic Art in ‘ReGENERATION’

After a long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the art scene in Bulacan is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with the upcoming launch of “ReGeneration” at SM Center Pulilan on April 30.

Organized by the Pulong Kabyawan Art Collective in partnership with SM Supermalls, the ‘ReGeneration’ exhibit will unveil the finest works of 25 Bulakenyo artists who aim to inspire and uplift the community following the pandemic. Drawing inspiration from nature’s rejuvenation after a long winter, the exhibition seeks to celebrate the awakening of consciousness after a period of uncertainty.

The show features work by renowned artists such as Alex Roxas, Ambo Dolores, Angela Gabriel, Andrew Alto de Guzman, Ardee Balugo Binalangbang, Arvie Tiongson, Avic Zamora, Bin Samonte, Carlo Caacbay, Clarisse Aguilera, Danny Rodriguez, Debong Palines, Dr. Sylvia Joaquin, Ed Santiago, Elmer Pacio, Erwin Mallari, Gilbert Calderon Angeles, Jan San Juan, Mar Perez, Mc Clen Talento, Oliver Marquez, Rex Tatlonghari, Rey Bautista, Richard Tercio and Rix Man.

Through art, the artists explore the themes of resilience and hope, offering renewed perspectives on life and nurturing the community.

SM Supermalls recognizes its responsibility to rebuild the community and restore positivity among its customers in the post-pandemic era. Through these art works, SM Bulacan malls hope to spread light and inspiration as people navigate the new normal.

‘ReGeneration’ grand launch will be on April 30 and will run until May 15 at SM Center Pulilan, followed by May 27 to June 10 at SM City Baliwag and will conclude on September 1-15 at SM City Marilao.
