CITY OF MALOLOS—Amidst the sun and the rains, different religious groups, joined by fihsermen, students, parishioners, other local folks gathered at the Barasoain Church grounds on Friday shorty before they staged a unity walk towards the Bulacan Capitol Forest Park im protest of the unbelievable billion worth of corrupted flood control projects in the province.

Leaders of the said groups strongly assail the blatant crime committed by officials of the government and private individuals of stealing the people’s money in form of government funds that were supposed to protect and save Bulakenyos that are  submerged in flood waters.

Together with students from Bulacan State University (BulSU), the protesters reached around 700 in number.
