UPLB has produced another set of educators as 32 of its graduates successfully passed the September 2024 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)-Secondary Level.

One of them, Arianne Abigail Monzon, garnered a 93.20% rating and ranked seventh among the top ten LET takers for the said category.

UPLB offers the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Science Teaching (BS MST), a program designed to produce versatile teachers who can proficiently teach all high school mathematics and science courses.

UPLB’s BS MST program takes distinctive strength through the training students get from three giant institutes of the UPLB College of Arts and Sciences. These are the Institute of Biological Sciences, Institute of Chemistry, and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Physics which are all National Centers of Excellence in the Basic Sciences. (Allane Desiree Arganda, with information from www.prc.gov.ph and ims.uplb.edu.ph)
