CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—A total of 46 law offenders were arrested by the police in their two days of anti-criminality operations in different towns and cities.
Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said that from Monday to Tuesday, joint operatives of City of Meycauayan, City of Malolos, City of Baliwag police stations and Police Drug Enforcement team in Region 3, Sta. Maria town, Regional Intelligence Unit and from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) including elements from San Miguel, Bocaue, Plaridel and Norzagaray police stations arrested 23 illegal drug suspects.
Confiscated from them were 55 sachets of almost 26 grams of shabu worth P177,355; 8 sachets of 14 grams of marijuana worth P2, 055 and 1 caliber .22 snub nose revolver with six 6 live ammunition, 1 caliber .38 revolver without serial number and three 3 pieces caliber .38 live ammunition, assorted paraphernalia and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate examination, while an appropriate criminal complaint against the arrested suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of joint operatives from Bulacan 2nd PMFC and City of San Jose Del Monte CPS; 2nd PMFC and San Rafael MPS; 2nd PMFC and Santa Maria MPS; Angat MPS and RMFB 3; City of San Jose Del Monte CPS and RMFB 3; and from Bulacan 1st PMFC, City of Meycauayan, Baliwag CPS, Plaridel, San Rafael, Santa Maria, San Ildefonso, Pandi, Bocaue, and Doña Remedios Trinidad police stations resulted in the arrest of 23 wanted persons.
The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
