Arrested 5 drug suspects yield P66,000 worth shabu

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—Police arrested five illegal drug suspects who yielded P66,000 worth of shabu in different anti-illegal drug operations in the province on Monday. 

Bulacan police director Col. Relly Arnedo said City of San Jose del Monte police seized 17 sachets of shabu worth P34,000 from one alias Jr., 55, from Area F, Barangay San Pedro. 

Im separate buy-bust operations conducted by

Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas, Hagonoy, and Angat police stations, four arrested suspects yielded 12 sachets of shabu worth P32,680. 

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.

Arnedo said reflecting the Bulacan PNP’s unwavering commitment to reducing crime and ensuring public safety is guided by Region 3 Police Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr.

The success of these operations underscores thwir dedication and effectiveness in combating drug-related crimes and apprehending offenders under the “Pulis ng PRO 3, Partner ng Pamayanan” thrust of the police, Arnedo added.
