Arrested duo yields nearly P500,000 worth shabu

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—Authorities arrested two suspected illegal gun trade suspects and seized nearly P500,000 worth of illegal drugs on Saturday, January 6 in the City of San Fernando.

The duo identified only as “Pakyaw” and “Jess” were apprehended by City of San Fernando police station operatives in Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando and confiscated from their possession more or less 70 grams of suspected shabu worth P476,000.00.

The duo also yielded a caliber 9mm (grease gun) loaded with 6 live ammunition.

The suspects are now facing charges for Violation of Section 5 & 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.

“This accomplishment serves as another testament to the determination of our police in safeguarding our communities from the ill effects of illegal drugs and from other forms of lawlessness,” said Police Region 3 Director, PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr.
