CAPAS, TARLAC—Bishop Jonathan S. Ferriol was anointed as the Deputy Executive Minister to his father, Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol of Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) before around 42,000 jubilant member crowd from across the country during the congregation’s celebration of its 50th founding year on Sunday at the New Clark City Gymnasium in this town.

In what government leaders present in the occasion, members, supporters and friends of PMCC described as miracle as only light rains showered the highly spirited attendees amid typhoon Goring, the young Ferriol received the blessing and grace of Apostle Ferriol to become the Deputy Executive Minister of their congregation.

Bishop Jonathan expressed elation over the milestone PMCC achieved for reaching its first 50 years or golden anniversary. “We are ready and all united and strong to face the next 50 years of our church and further go beyond to preach the teaching of Christ,” he said before the hundreds and hundreds in attendance and before members of the media during a briefing ahead of the start of the program.

“PMM (4th Watch) is looking back on its roots and eagerly awaiting a brighter future through a series of cultural presentations, performances and grand fireworks display. Over 100,000 brethren, composed of around 70,000 local members and an estimated 30,000 representatives from around the world joined us in the celebration, with our theme: Celebrating the Past, Fortifying the Present and Expanding the Future,” Bishop Jonathan said.

“As we enter our sixth decade, our brethren can expect a renewed vigor in carrying out our mission of championing Jesus’ command: to spread the message of the Gospel, with a voice loud and clear. Serving as the Deputy to our Apostle comes with heavy responsibilities, but as Jesus Christ Himself reassures, no burden is too heavy if you surrender them to Him,” the Bishop added.

Officials of PMCC gave recognition and plaque of appreciation to Senators Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go for passing Senate Resolution No. 719 which congratulates the PMCC (4th Watch) on its 50th Golden Church Anniversary and also congratulates its leaders for being a continued source of hope and salvation to many people across the world.

Senators Cynthia Villar, Maria Lourdes Binay and Imee Marcos also signed the said resolution.

Other than Go, Senators Robin Padilla and Raffy Tulfo together with Marikina Congresswoman Stella Luz Alabastro Quimbo, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, Tarlac Rep. Jonathan Yap also graced the event.Bishop Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Church also supported the celebration through a representative.

The resolution also honors the PMCC for its July 2023 blood donation program with the Philippines Red Cross where 4,024 bags of blood were gathered from among the volunteer members of the church.

PMCC (4th Watch) traces its roots to the divine calling received by Apostle Ferriol as an apostle in the End-Time. The church regards Apostle Ferriol as the Goodman of the House prophesied in Matthew 24:43 and anointed with the revelation on the times and seasons of the Second Coming of Christ.
