Fernando cancels classes and works due to typhoon

CITY OF MALOLOS–Gov. Daniel Fernando orders the cancellation of classes in all levels in Bulacan both in public and private including all government works on Monday, Sept. 26 due to typhoon Karding except disaster offices and hospitals.

However, Fernando leaves to the management the cancellation of works in private offices as companies engage in health and food may need to remain open.

Bulacan, the whole of Central Luzon and most areas in Northern Luzon are in typhoon signals 1-3 due to the strength of typhoon Karding that is expected to bring strong rains and winds, based on reports by Pag-asa.

As of press time, strong winds and rains have yet to be experienced in the province.
