CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN– Senator Bong Go distributes on Friday P7.4 million worth of cash assistance to about 2,500 residents under the Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Managment (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
About 1,465 residents in this city from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, (LGBTQ), solo parents, Person with Disability (PWD), poor women, poor senior citizen without pension and from the public transport group received P3,000 cash each during distribution program held at the residence of Mayor Henry Villarica in Barangay Saluysoy this city.
Go also distributes packs of groceries, bicycles and mobile phones including basketballs.
Go proceeded to Guiguinto town and also distributed P3,000 worth each to 1,000 students.
The senato who chairs the senate health committe also assured the residents of his available medical health care support if they will need them. He said all they have to do is to write him or go to his office in the senate.
