CITY OF MALOLOS – Bulacan’s pride and distinct sweets, delicacies, other known native foods, newly created specialties, fashion and accessory products, novelties and others are again in the limelight and on display in this year’s 2023 Sining Kalinangan ng Bulacan (Singkaban) dubbed as “Tatak Singkaban Trade Fair.
Nearly sixty booths and stalls of famous food stuffs, from sweets jewelry, furniture, handicrafts, etc., of Bulacan-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives have opened yesterday as the fair runs from September 8-15, 2023 in front of the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) in the Capitol Compound in this city.
Two municipal and city government units also participated in the fair and respectively opened booths to promote their locally produced products.
The fair is one of the major highlights of the annual part of the week-long celebration of the Singkaban Festival with this year’s theme, “Likas na Yaman, Kasaysayan at Kultura, Pangalagaan ating Pamana”.
Footwear, bags, wallets, gift items, embroidery and linen, ornamental plants, fashion accessories, clothing, leather crafts other than food products are also on display to grab.
“Patuloy nating ipinapakita ang ating suporta para sa mga maliliit na negosyo at mga kooperatiba dahil naniniwala tayo na sila ay haligi rin ng ating ekonomiya. Ang Tatak Singkaban Trade Fair ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagbebenta, ito rin ay tungkol sa pagbibigay ng oportunidad para sa ating mga kababayan na tuparin ang kanilang mga pangarap sa pagnenegosyo,” Fernando said.
