CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan–About 116 boys in Quezon City on Saturday benefited from joint free circumcision project of religious and socio-civic groups dubbed as “Pandemic Operation Tuli”. 


Each of the boys aged 8-12 accompanied by their parents wait for their turn at the second floor of Manresa Barangay Hall. 


Doctors from Philadelphia Christcentered Fellowship based in La Loma Quezon City spearheaded the project.

Philadelphia Christcentered Fellowship chairman Denz Vidallo said their “Libreng Tuli” was dubbed as “Pandemic Tuli” because the boys were only circumcised today when low restrictions are imposed because of the COVID-19 hard lockdowns in 2020 and 2021. 

Vidallo’s group partnered with Fraternal Order of Eagles, Philippine Eagles Quezon City Sandigan Eagles Club, the Quezon City Sandigan Lady Eagles Club headed by Me-anne Ambita, Bulacan Marilag Tanglaw Sandigan Lady Eagles Club led by Atty. Cristina “Tina” Alcantara and members of Builders Eagles Club and other Eagle members for the conduct of t their “free tuli” community service. 

Vidallo thanked the Eagles groups and other partners. 


The La Loma  Quezon City police station also supported the project together with Manresa Barangay Captain Arturo “Bong” Tambis and the whole council. 


Vidallo said the operation tuli in Barangay Manresa was supposed to be held in May, but it was moved to July in time for the end of the school year last June 28. 


Vidallo said their group regularly conducts monthly medical mission to different groups of people to help provide for the mental, social and moral support needs.


Alcantara based in this camp in City of Malolos together with member Dra. Juvy Cuyugan-Cruz and the rest of the members trooped to Manresa and helped and showed their support in the circumcisions. 


Alcantara expressed joy that the Bulacan Marilag Lady Eagles Club had actively participated in the community service of their fellows.
