CITY OF MAOLOS–It took a Bulakenyo former Makati City chief of police for the Bulacan Provincial Police Office to improve its facilities and vicinities and give a new look to its headquarters Camp Gen. Alejo Santos in this capital city of Bulacan.


Lukban who was installed as the new police director of Bulacan on October is constructing an oval grandstand at the center of the camp which will also serve as parking area which will help the Bulacan Capitol Grounds address its traffic concerns.
New offices will also be built including renovation of the main gate and entrance.


“All the buildings around us are new and colorful while Camp Alejo has been left behind. These are among the first things I needed to do,” Lukban told NEWS CORE. 


Lukban is referring to Bulacan State University and the newly built Bulacan Infection and Control Center including a newly built additional building of the Bulacan Medical Center. 


When he first arrived in October, Lukban addressed the drainage and sewage concerns inside the camp. 


A new bust of Gen. Alejo Santos, the formidable Bulacan World War II hero from Bustos town who formed the Bulacan Military Area against the Japanese troops was named will also be built and placed in front of the administration building. 


Lukban also put up a standing logo design of the Bulacan PPO where the police symbols of all the 21 towns and three cities are also displayed. 


The police director who had served as Makati police chief in 2014 was a former City of Malolos police chief in late 2000.
